Greetings All!
Mark these dates on your June calendar: Sunday, June 14th and Saturday/Sunday June 27 & 28th.
Sunday, June 14th.....OTD #4
The last OTD was a sellout with a wide variety of cars and drivers that made for a terrific event. It looks to be more of the same this weekend. Currently over sixty cars are registered. We could always use a few more flaggers and volunteers to ensure a good time. Join us!
OTD's and race weekends start the same. Sign in by 9:00am at Lena's (at the paddock entrance.) Park by Lena's and take the short walk up to the pavilion and sign in with me (Ron). Have a donut. Sign a ticket for gas card drawings. Our meeting will start 9:15 sharp where station assignments and other event information is offered.
The morning donuts, lunch, and afternoon worker break ice cream and gas card drawings are for sure. We will have plenty of water for hydration.
Weather preparation is always paramount. Wear white or light color tops (no red) with long pants (no shorts) and comfortable closed toed shoes (no sandals). Rain gear and sunscreen with a hat is always advisable. Other than that, be prepared to have fun.
Saturday/Sunday June 27/28.....RACE WEEKEND #3.....Annual IT Invitational
Race weekends are always fast and exciting at Waterford Hills. It is a great opportunity for flaggers new and experienced to show off their skills while enjoying some of the best road racing in the Midwest. Be part of the action!
Registering your intentions to participate is helpful to me (Ron). Signing in on MotorsportsReg is the best. BUT email or texting will work just as well. BUT we never turn away walkup volunteers. JUst come and have fun!

Good Evening!!!!
Making another plea for corner marshalls for the SCCA Double Regional Event to be held on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21 at Grattan Raceway.
Currently six flaggers have registered for the event; a minimum of six additional flaggers are needed. If your schedule permits volunteering one or both days, please consider doing so. Additionally new blood is needed within the West Michigan Region of the SCCA so if you know of anyone even remotely interested in wearing white and flagging racing cars, please have that individual contact me. The West Michigan Region will pay the SCCA membership for any person not an SCCA member.
Please click on the following link to register:
