Another Season to Remember

As the northern race season has closed, I'm hoping everyone had the opportunity to participate in the sport we all love this past year. While I personally was not able to attend as many races as I would have liked, I did enjoy being at the Detroit Grand Prix and a race at Waterford Hills.

It's now time to go through our personal equipment, discard what's not going to be needed, refresh anything that may need it, and replace that which has passed its useful life. My track bag is still in the trunk of my car, hoping for just one more race.

I hope each of you is enjoying this holiday season. Be safe, stay healthy and I look forward to seeing you at a nearby track and race in 2026.

The dates for the Detroit Grand Prix have been confirmed for the last weekend in May. As we receive confirmation of schedules for other series and tracks nearby, we'll post them on the MTM website, so stay tuned.

All the best,

Steve Balanecki

F&C Communication Survey

Hello Fellow Flagger,

We’re asking for your input on how Flagging & Communications teams communicate across regions and organizations. This short survey will help us identify what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can improve communication in the Great Lakes Division.

The survey takes about 2-5 minutes to complete. Results will be discussed at the upcoming convention.

Please complete the survey by February 16.
